Become a part of Saint Margaret Mercy's team! Join our Volunteer Services as a Pink Lady, Red Coat or Candy Striper. More than 45 types of volunteer opportunities are available at our North Campus in Hammond and our South Campus in Dyer.

As a volunteer you play an important role in supporting our commitment to compassionate care and quality services. Your willing hands and warm heart will partner with our dedicated staff to comfort and assist patients and visitors in non-medical roles.

Our volunteers range in ages from 14 to 90. Some bring special skills and knowledge, while others bring a desire to explore and learn. Many come with a gift for working close to patients, while others provide assistance behind the scenes.

All come bearing the greatest gift of all -- themselves.
